Job purpose
This position will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair malfunctioning electrical and hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process to keep everything in a production status.
Duties and responsibilities
Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.
Complete assigned procedures on mold machines, robots, programmable logic controller, air compressors and other electrical and mechanical equipment in the facility
Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods of repair, using a variety of testing instruments
Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools
Ability to troubleshoot PLCs
Observe and practice all safety regulations
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Associates Degree or equivalent from a 2 year college a plus
Technical school/Training or equivalent on the job certifications
Plastic Injection Molding experience a plus
