Technician II, QC

We're hiring for a Weekend AM Technician II, QC to support the incoming Quality Control team in Bloomington, Indiana! The Technician II, QC will be responsible for all incoming material to be used in production.
This is a full-time, hourly position and is 100% site based.
The schedule is Friday - Sunday 6:00AM - 6:30PM.
Catalent Biologics in Bloomington, Indiana is a state-of-the-art, GMP manufacturing facility, providing one million sq/ft of drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services.

The Role Responsible for all incoming material that must be inspected to be used in production.
Receives incoming material and executes physical inspection.
Takes samples to inspection room for visual inspection or sends samples to lab for testing.
Finalizes material for final release to be sent to the Quality Assurance team.
Logs samples into laboratory tracking software.
Actively participates in team meetings and/or training sessions.
Other duties as assigned The Candidate High School/GED with typically 2-5 years of industry experience.
Technical Certificate or higher preferred.
Experience using JDE and/or LIMS highly preferred.
Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.
Preferred: o Familiarity with clean room procedure, aseptic technique, and general lab equipment experience.
o cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge.
o Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
o General laboratory equipment experience, including micropipettes.
