Job Summary Department Specific Responsibilities Manages marketing projects related to advertising campaigns, promotional materials, email marketing, website updates and optimization, events, social media, and other related tactics.
Works with vendors and agency partners in collaboration with the Sr.
Brand Manager for Kelley Direct.
May assist with writing or editing communications.
Generates regular reports and presentations.
Observes and acts on performance data from paid tactics, CRM marketing, and web analytics.
Helps manage and report on marketing metrics.
Provides updates to stakeholders on the status of initiatives.
Performs other related administrative duties as needed.
General Responsibilities Independently develops and executes basic strategic marketing plans for a department or functional area within a department to advance goals and objectives, including data collection and market research, target market definition, development of project timelines, sourcing of promotional materials, and marketing content creation.
Responds to inquiries and requests from stakeholders and explains information regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Manages relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, and acts as a collaborative resource in curating marketing plans to relevant initiatives, groups, events, and programs.
Regularly researches relevant subject matter to increase knowledge in area(s) of specialty, including information on various marketing channels (print, online, electronic, email, social media, and direct mail).
May participate in team-based marketing planning to align strategies and deadlines across various concurrent projects and initiatives.
Collaborates with users of various software programs and creative platforms to create and deliver content and marketing materials in multiple formats to a variety of audiences.
Qualifications Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience.
Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.
EDUCATION Required Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, public relations, or related field WORK EXPERIENCE Preferred Some experience in relevant field SKILLS Required Proficient communication skills Maintains a high degree of professionalism Demonstrates time management and priority setting skills Demonstrates a high commitment to quality Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty Preferred Practical professional experience in fundamentals of project management, marketing and advertising Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and execute multiple projects within budget and on schedule Demonstrated business acumen, customer awareness and ability to create value Ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster culture change Ability to function high level of accountability and efficiency with limited supervision Working Conditions / Demands This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment.
The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
