We are looking for a talented eMobility Financial Analyst to join our team specializing in finance for our Accelera Business by Cummins, Inc.
in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers.
Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.
Prepares analyses and reports for department managers.
Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
Supports month end close.
Prepares and consolidates financial data.
To be successful in this role you will need the following: US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge .
Financial Reporting - Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies.
Business Partnering - Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies; influences the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment; evaluates business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.
Financial Analysis - Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement; evaluates financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders; ensures integrity of financial data by investigating variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues.
Education, Licenses, Certifications College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
Experience Month end close including 15 journal entries per month, account payable reports, opening/closing of accounting periods, monthly volume submission -Post month end close responsibilities including reconciliations and corporate form completion, CEP financial pack for supply chain, compiling KPIs, labor cross charges -Customer support including miscellaneous invoicing, accounts receivable past due support, customer return of materials authorizations, credit memos -Direct goods received not invoiced past due resolution and tracking -Supplier support including supplier return of materials authorizations, debit memos, return tracking, ad hoc sourcing requests -Direct materials error correction including meeting with suppliers, receipt and invoice corrections -Freight management including reclassing charges, performing accruals, ad hoc analysis for cost management and direct materials teams Base salary range: $65,600 - $98,400 Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
