*Staff Accountant:*
Job Duties: Onsite
* Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
* Process invoices into ERP daily by due date and track via digital files for managers to approve purchase orders for payment.
* Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments.
* Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
* Reconcile inventory receivables to vendor commercial invoices.
* Reconcile commercial invoices to freight and customs invoices.
* Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges as well as FBF employee credit card statements and receipts.
* Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers (general ledger) by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
* Timely balance of A/P to meet monthly close deadline.
* Maintains historical records by saving to digital files, scanning paper documents to digital files and file paper documents.
* Coordinate Trade Show and Travel Expenses
* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Will be responsible for assisting and providing support in daily operation of the company’s financial records as it obtains to Account Payable functions and various other projects and tasks as needed.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
* 2-5 years of experience in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Skills:*
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Objectivity & Thoroughness with Attention to Detail
* Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a focus on team and culture building

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
